Herbicide
GLYPHOSATE 41% SL
A non-selective, systemic post-emergence herbicide that provides effective control of a broad spectrum of annual and perennial grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges. Readily absorbed through foliage and translocated throughout the plant, including roots and rhizomes, ensuring complete weed kill.
Target Weeds
Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus rotundus, Echinochloa, Digitaria, Parthenium, Amaranthus & Chenopodium
Mode of Action
HRAC Group 9 / EPSPS Enzyme Inhibition & Aromatic Amino Acid Synthesis Blockade
Use Sites / Crops
Orchards, Plantation Crops, Tea, Coffee, Vineyards, Non-Crop Areas & Fallow Land
Active: Glyphosate
Formulation: SL (Soluble Concentrate)
Non-Selective Post-Emergence Systemic
HRAC Group 9 Action
Product Information
Mode of Action
Glyphosate (HRAC Group 9) inhibits the 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSPS) enzyme, disrupting the shikimic acid pathway and blocking the synthesis of essential aromatic amino acids required for plant growth. Systemic translocation from foliar tissues down into roots and rhizomes results in total vegetative death.
Target Weeds
- Cynodon dactylon (Bermudagrass)
- Cyperus rotundus (Nutsedge)
- Echinochloa crus-galli (Barnyardgrass)
- Digitaria spp. (Crabgrass)
- Parthenium hysterophorus
- Amaranthus spp.
- Chenopodium album
- Commelina benghalensis
Recommended Application Guidance
| Crop / Area | Target Weeds | Dosage & Method of Application |
|---|---|---|
| Orchards, Plantation Crops, Tea, Coffee, Vineyards, Non-crop Areas & Fallow Land | Annual and perennial grasses, broadleaf weeds & sedges | Apply as a post-emergence directed spray on actively growing weeds at the recommended label dosage. Avoid spray drift or contact with the green parts of desirable crops. Ensure thorough and uniform coverage for optimum weed control. |
For specific L/ha or ml/ha dosage rates and local water carrier recommendations across plantation crops, fallow land, and non-crop sites, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agricultural extension specialists.
Application Instructions
1. Post-Emergence Active Growth Spraying
Apply as a directed foliar spray when annual/perennial grasses, broadleaves, and sedges are actively growing to maximize systemic translocation down into underground root structures and rhizomes.
2. Directed Application & Drift Shielding
Ensure uniform spray coverage over weed foliage. As a non-selective herbicide, utilize spray hoods or directed nozzles to strictly avoid contact or spray drift onto green foliage, non-target crops, or young green bark of desirable plants.
Safety & Environmental Care
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, face mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Non-selective herbicide; prevent spray drift onto desirable vegetation and water bodies. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food, drink, and animal feed.
